Weather Update!!
After the winter Cold, Snow, Rain & just miserable and deplorable playing conditions Spring is upon us. Yes, the forecast for March is Golf is ON!! Clean those clubs, wash your balls and shoes and let’s get it ON! Please understand, this forecast is being brought to you not by a trained Meteorologist nor a weather prognosticator but a veteran skilled, highly efficient, computer illiterate, but optimistic Starter/Marshall. Therefore, no responsibility is taken for the weather or any reference to the weather. Have a great March and I will see you on the 1st tee.

Spring is upon us! We still have a few days when the temperature and Mr. Sun decide not to join us, but we will notice that these days will be farther and farther apart. This brings into focus the different components of your golf game. Be on the lookout for ways to improve you game, from skill development to equipment improvements to playing opportunities. First on the agenda is equipment condition…stop by the Golf Shop for a complementary evaluation of your equipment. We look forward to seeing you Around the Triangle soon!!

From the Course Owner
Greetings from the WillowBrook golf staff. We are beyond excited to be completed with our spring aerification and drilling process. A huge shout out to our grounds crew for working tirelessly to complete the task to perfection in only 2 1/2 days. They worked well past normal hours and were happy to do so! We will grow in rapidly when Mother Nature gives us the temps to grow. They are rolling better than any other year I have experienced. Come out and enjoy as much as you possibly can. We are also complete in entirety with the most thorough, extensive pre emerge application ever. We are continuing to improve the irrigation system on a daily bases.
I would like to welcome Brannon Toombs on his promotion to our Course Crew Leader. He started here in 2004 and has vast amounts of knowledge to bring to the table!
We are very excited for what WillowBrook will have to offer in 2024!

NOTICE: Due to the increase in the number of golfers on the weekend we are making the following change. Effective immediately the maximum number of players allowed per hole will be a foursome (4) on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We are striving to maintain a 14 minute per hole playing time and ask your assistance and understanding. We thank each of you for allowing us to serve you and make your playing time enjoyable.
Just to Laugh: A player asked his golf coach: “What is going wrong with my game?”
The coach replied, “You’re standing too close to the ball after you’ve hit it.”
Starting Wednesday, March 13th
Golfing with God
We have a group of golfers that is getting together with other God loving people to have a fun filled round of golf (scramble format) and meet new brothers and sisters in the Lord. The first gathering will be Wednesday, March 13th at 9:00 a.m. It’s possible that Saturday, March 16th at noon will be available, if we get players wanting to play. We will meet at the Pro Shop for a short prayer and have a Spirit filled, round of “Golfing with Godly with like minded believers.”
Please call the Pro Shop at 931-728-8989 and give them your contact information. I will follow-up with each person interested.
