From the Course Superintendent

Greetings

Thank you for your continued patience with our greens that have struggled.  We have done some aggressive agronomical procedures to resolve the problems with the affected greens and we hope to have them in great condition soon.

On another note, we have begun some of our fall/winter projects including stump grinding, tree trimming, tree removal, and we are about to start irrigation expansion on a few holes.

Please continue to fix ball marks on greens and divots in the fairways and rake your footprints out of bunkers.

Pat

The Willowbrook Ladies Golf Group has chosen a service project for the holidays. While many of us are blessed to enjoy life’s basic needs, unfortunately there are some in our community who struggle to meet their basic needs including food.  The Storehouse Food Pantry has a mission to alleviate food insecurity for residents in Manchester and the surrounding areas.  The need is surely to increase as we approach the holidays and the end of the year.

We have a chance to make a difference for so many of our neighbors who may be struggling. Your donation can have a tangible impact on the work being done by The Storehouse Food Pantry. Every donation has a positive impact on our community.

Start this holiday season off by doing something that will make you feel good about yourself and making this world a better place. Buy a little extra when at the store, or forgo a coffee or other treat so that it can go towards this great cause.

A donation box will be set up in the Pro Shop from November 20th through December 15th.  Your participation is greatly needed and will be greatly appreciated!
