September, 2023 “Around The Triangle”
I have had several people ask about David and his recovery.
It is a miracle from God that David is recovering at a pace that is almost unbelievable to watch. I have seen him several times riding around the course with Arnie and both with a positive attitude. The blessings from our Lord is with David because of the prayers from so many of you and all are being answered. His recovery is going to be 100 percent and you will see him again on the tee with club in hand hitting the ball better than before. Thank each of you for your interest, prayers and reaching out to him, he feels your love and appreciates everyone’s attention. May God’s mighty hand stay on David and Julie directing them in all their life!

As we turn the corner into the Fall Season, the time to play golf is upon us. The weather will continue to improve, with cooler mornings and evenings. Keep in mind that the first tee times of the day are always reserved for our members, from 7:30am – 8:00am, Monday – Sunday. There are a few tournament reservation exceptions, so be sure to check our calendar to be sure these times will be open for you. Fall Inventory is arriving in early September, shirts, pullovers, headwear, gloves, grips, and balls will remain stocked through the Christmas Season. Come by the Golf Shop before or after your next round for a complementary club inspection to answer the question “is it time for new grips?” See you on the course!

As summer winds down we will be getting things ready for winter. This includes greens aerification and pre-emerging wall-to-wall for weeds. We have also begun planning for our winter projects so stay tuned for more. Please continue to fix your ball marks, rake bunkers, and observe the no cart signs.

Hole in One Club
The elusive Hole in One remained unattainable for the Month of August with several reported “it ALMOST went in the hole”. Everyone keep trying and we will keep moving the hole to make it as elusive as possible, just part of our job!
